This pandemic is not going to end well for my waistline, either 😅

I will be attending The Big Quiz for Cancer Research UK - Live! on
Just had my easiest game of #ApexLegends just now, where most of the other squads lagged out, leaving just 3 including me left, and then I somehow won in the end because even though I was outside the ring, it looks like the other played disconnected first 😂
It's 1700 and Anna Dodson and I are only just eating an Easter egg. We've definitely done something wrong 🤔
I use https://hetzner.cloud for my personal servers which have some in Germany but looks like not in Frankfurt unfortunately
For those wanting a bit more info on the IndieWeb, see the discussion and post on https://lobste.rs/s/zg6iok/indieweb_movement_owning_your_data_being where I shared a transcript of a conference talk I did on the subject
I use https://github.com/PlaidWeb/webmention.js to render my webmentions client-side so they're always up to date, instead of needing to rebuild the site - I've written a bit more about it at https://www.jvt.me/posts/2019/06/30/client-side-webmentions/
I followed the instructions in https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/coreutils which prompts you to update your PATH

Used to but moved to Hetzner as performance and cost wasn't as good, and I had a few issues with downtime - one which left me with a fairly critical server dead for over 24 hours and needed restoring from backups
Anna Dodson and I have had great fun playing Good Job - it's a nice mix of casual strategy and chaos
Not that I'm aware of, sorry!
Can't comment on the Kubernetes angle, but I've been using https://hetzner.cloud and have had good experiences - fast, competitive price and no issues with unexpected downtime 👍🏽
I guess you'll have to have another 😅
With apologies to Mattias Geniar and Jan-Piet Mens after their conversation on @SysCast_Online - I don't write POSIX scripts, and instead use GNU tools, even on BSD https://www.jvt.me/posts/2020/04/11/bad-posix-citizen/
Being a Bad POSIX Citizen (2 mins read).
Owning up to using GNU coreutils, even on BSDs, because I'm lazy.
Sending hugs 🤗 can't imagine having to go through this alone - I'm lucky to be living with Anna Dodson, and that both of us are quite introverted and enjoy being at home. Hopefully it won't be long until you can see them
